Scholarship Support
Fifteen years later after its creation SMK has evolved into a multi-faceted education centre providing personalised academic support for people of every age and ability.
11+ Examinations
To improve children’s progress and supplement their studies in school, we offer one-to-one and group class tutoring for English, Maths and Science. Tutoring takes place both online and in person for 60 to 90 minutes each week. Small group assessments are then run on Saturday mornings, on approximately a monthly basis. This ensures that your child is making progress towards their goals and is more likely to succeed in achieving in their 11+ exam. Tutors also work with students in understanding and experiencing verbal and non-verbal reasoning problems which are used in various differing assessments from IQ tests to entrance exams.
Following completion of the 11+ exam, we frequently continue tutoring students for their Year 6 SATs. For pricing and enquires please get in touch to find out more.
Tutoring
Whilst primarily focussing on Maths, Science and English we are able to offer bespoke tutoring in a wide range of subjects right up to Alevels. We aim to provide 1 hour, per subject, per week. Where possible we endeavour to accommodate learners’ subject requests and will discuss openly with any enquirer about a provision in their chosen area.

Exam Provisions
We are an exam centre approved to deliver for the following exam boards:
AQA, OCR and Pearson EDEXCEL
Our assessment services are primarily aimed at those outside of mainstream education, e.g. home educated students or private candidates, and we strive to make your examination experience as simple as it can possibly be. From mock exams, to help students understand what to expect or identify learning gaps that may require additional revision and intervention, to support with the final assessment day itself, our team is here to support you. Our center staff have a wide knowledge regarding examinations and the assessment requirements.
You will be able to take Functional Skills/GCSE/IGCSE/AS/A-Levels exams with us, however note that we can only cater to written exams. Any NEAs (coursework, fieldwork or practical) required for your exams (in particular, Alevel exams) will have to either have been completed already and carried forward or undertaken with an appropriate provider.
We partner with www.tutorsandexams.uk/ for candidates who need to complete coursework or fieldwork as part of their qualifications or require predicated grades for university or college applications. Please contact us for a partner discount code if required.
We can cater to the following NEA's:
GCSE/IGCSE/ALEVEL/AS
English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Turkish and Arabic speaking tests.
We also offer tuition for 11+ GCSE's, Alevel and Functional skills courses.
We are able to offer assessment in the majority of A-level/GCSE subjects as well as Functional Skills. Should we be unable to provide for your needs, we are a learning partner with Tutors and Exams to whom we are able to refer students for assessment provision.
In addition, we are able to provide for various professional qualifications including AAT and Microsoft Office Specialist Exams. Contact us to find out more!
